Where We Work

Systemic challenges do not respect sector boundaries, and neither does CHEP. Our work spans six interconnected sectors because the most durable solutions live at their intersection. We bring a cross-sector lens to every issue we engage and build the coalitions that make that lens actionable.

01

Corporate

The private sector has significant influence over health, economic mobility, and community wellbeing through employment practices, benefits design, supply chains, and community investment. CHEP works with corporate partners that want to use that leverage credibly by grounding action in evidence, aligning stakeholders, and building accountability into implementation.

02

Education

Education shapes opportunity, health, and long-term economic outcomes, but access and quality remain deeply unequal. CHEP engages education leaders, institutions, and funders working to dismantle structural barriers across the full education continuum — from early learning through postsecondary and workforce pathways.

Government

Policy remains one of the most powerful levers for systems change, but legislation alone rarely produces sustainable progress. CHEP works with government stakeholders to strengthen the evidence base, convene cross-sector partners, and build the coalitions and accountability structures that turn policy intent into lived impact.

04

Healthcare

Healthcare is where CHEP’s roots run deepest and where our network is strongest. We work across the healthcare ecosystem, including employers, providers, community-based organizations, policymakers, and funders, to address the structural factors that shape access, outcomes, and accountability. From prevention and behavioral health to community health infrastructure, market intelligence, and new models of care, CHEP helps stakeholders move from fragmented efforts to coordinated action.

International

The challenges CHEP addresses are not unique to the United States, and some of the most instructive models for solving them have emerged elsewhere. CHEP brings a global lens to domestic issues by connecting U.S. based stakeholders with international frameworks, partnerships, and examples that expand what is possible in health equity, economic progress, and community resilience.

06

Public Health

Public health is foundational to community wellbeing and economic productivity, yet it remains chronically undervalued and under-resourced. CHEP works to strengthen the case for public health investment, build the cross-sector coalitions that give that case traction, and connect resources to the prevention and community health infrastructure communities depend on.
